  • Mission was to move DoD UAS from Service unique, stand-alone capabilities towards capabilities that are more interoperable across the Joint force

SOLUTION:

  • Using an integrated approach, identify how unmanned systems can be optimized to support a greater set of mission areas
  • Identify those common areas of technology maturation that can lead to performance improvements in all domains
  • Identify the technology enablers needed to foster the ability to conduct collaborative operations between multiple unmanned systems in multiple domains

CLIENT RESULTS:

  • Successfully completed first Capabilities Based Assessment (CBA) for this subject matter
  • Developed and published first DoD Unmanned Aircraft Systems Interoperability Strategic Plan
  • Identified and codified the DoD vision for UAS Interoperability
