U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Student & Exchange Visitor Program T&E Support

November 12

CHALLENGE:

  • The Student & Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) Systems Management Unit (SMU) needed an experienced contractor team to provide business office support and Operational Test Agent (OTA) services with the ability to maintain OTA independence, while functioning as a key member of the PMO Integrated Test Team
  • Current fielded systems require identifying and executing non-traditional operational test approaches to ensure thorough and comprehensive assessment

SOLUTION:

  • Provided team of experienced Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) subject matter experts with a solid understanding of acquisition requirements as they relate to test and evaluation to deliver precedent-setting, tailored Operational Test (OT) services in a fluid, unconventional environment
  • Provided senior analysts to review and develop documentation through all phases of the acquisition process in compliance with DHS and ICE governance requirements

CLIENT RESULTS:

  • Reduced risk and minimized potential for delays during the acquisition process
  • Ability to leverage 25 years of OT experience and established relationships throughout DHS to expedite resolution of issues
  • Received guidance and direction supporting nomination as the OTA for SEVIS II
  • Received guidance and documentation for conducting non-traditional OT approaches for already-fielded systems under the management of SEVP SMU
